In 1896, Flora Cogswell was a milliner, making hats for the women of the tiny community of Kirwin Ks. Robin Van Allen was inspired to create this old fashioned pinkeep as a tribute to her great, great Aunt Flora, a "modern" working woman of the late 1800's.
